All the books say the tapered side is marked. I have gone through 18 of these rings now and no a single one had any marks. So it's up to us to determine which side is which. . There are many different way to do this, but I have found the simplest way - especially if you have old worn out eyes like mine. All that is required is a straight edge and a thumb. So you can put away your magnifying glass, your sheet if glass, your surface plate etc. The pics are self explanatory. Cool huh?

Coyote,
I have seen a coupla dozen GT550 rings from different models and makers and all have tiny stampings somewhere topside.
Also, its easy to see the taper, just by rotating it in the light.
So if you see neither marks nor an obvious thinning from out to inside on one side, I think you do not have keystones in your hands.
Cheers,
Mike
These are genuine Suzuki rings and they definitely are keystone type rings. Obviously tapered on one side. There are no marks on them. I even looked them over with a jeweler's loupe. The last 6 I got from Paul Miller also had no marks at all. And the 6 in RedZone -- no marks. I guess you got lucky.

Mine even has an accessory flip down super mag. With my reading glasses on and the Opti-Visor and that third lens down, the focal length is about 12mm. I still don't see any numbers
I've had my Opti-Visor for many many years. Very handy when needed.

I answered my own question. I took pics of all 6 and blew them up one at a time. All are marked .50 as well they should be. The ring box was opened and I wanted to be sure there were no mix-ups. My hat goes off to the guys that could see this with the naked eye,
