Taking apart my T500 side covers for cleaning and powder coating. I cannot seem to find the part number on the schematics for the oil seal on the clutch cover side. I think its where the other end of the shifter comes out the clutch cover on the right side. Anyone know this part number and where to get one?
Speaking of this. Why does this bike have this rod with splines coming out of the clutch cover? What is the purpose of this?

Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Oil seal 09285-12002 SUPERCEEDED BY 09285-12006
The splines would allow you to mount the gear shift on the right side of the bike (you can also see provisions on the frame for rear brake cable to be mounted on the left, as well as other clues). As far as I have ever seen, Suzuki never actually offered the components to do this.
