cylinder rebore UK

Post by dyrberg123 »

Hi guys.

Anybody in here who can recommend a god rebore guy in UK or Germany for my GT750 barrels? I have new pistons my self!

Thanks in advance....

You could try SEP Engineering, Kegworth (I've used them) but surely the shipping will be huge vs the cost of the work?
All you need is a good local place who understands the smaller than usual clearances required by the 750 and can hold and measure (feedback to you) the clearances when done. Obviously they'll need the pistons too.
Cheers,
Mike

You are right Mike,

What clearance are you normally using? I seem to remember som 0,018 to 0,020 in the factory manual, do you copy that?

That's .0018 - .002. What you wrote is 18 to 20 thousandths!
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Your right... It migth be a bit noisy, but then again, no need for running in

But besides the missing zero it is correct right?
