Hi to all new to the forum , I have just purchased a GT185 , that needs some TLC to get it to a nearly original condition , will be testing a few peoples knowledge in the process(hopefully not too much 8)

The engine turns over to check if was not seized ,The tank is rusty inside so I will need to set up a remote gas tank change the oil and plugs etc and see if it will start and hoepefully there will no major issues
Then it will be strip down and restored to the former glory and that 2 stroke smell

Looks to be complete. Getting it running shouldn't be a huge feat. FYI: the electrical system on this bike is strictly DC, meaning you'll need a good battery with a full charge to be able to start it (no magneto, it has a generator/dynamo which needs power applied to create a field to start). Replacement seat cover and kick start lever are easily found on EBay if someone on here doesn't have them. Good luck and have fun.

Looks to be a nice machine....lets hope it's ok mechanically.
