Has anyone installed emulators in their Buffalo forks? If so, I'd like some details and opinions.

It is possible and in fact it's quite easy as long as we are talking 74 on forks with damper rods.
Follow the instructions but you must get a spacer to fit on top of the damper rods (same spacer as an RD400 IIRC). If not teh forks don't pass oil. They are stiff as rocks.
