WTB: T500 MkIII shopping list

Post by akendall1966 »

I am a greenhorne when it come to T500's, so if any of this is unobtanium please be gentle with me

Just aquired a MkIII so will add to the list as I discover more ills, but needed:

Headlight rim flat bottom type.
Front mudguard / fender stay front one, not rear.
Fork stanchions (straight and servicable pls)
Indicators all 4 corners
left hand handlebar switch.

All parts need to be complete & servicable please, PM me pictures and prices.

Cheers
Adrian

Most of that stuff crops up on eBay fairly regularly. You'll get a good feel for prices if you look at what is selling and the condition of it. Just be wary of a couple of the sellers who have been in the business for years and have multiple eBay monikers. Not everything is as advertised and the after sales service can be crap.

Cheers - got some searches set up on the 'bay, so hopefully bits will appear over time. Fortunately nothing seems to be missing or unserviceable that is critical to getting it going / ridable. So even if it takes a while I can swap out to nicer condition bits once I find them.
