Mmm. Remember this headline?: "Bimota V-Due 500 - The Bike That Killed Bimota"

Unless they can get the emissions right, then no way. Fuel injection was the way to go...

That is the right company to buy one from. They used to make cylinders for Aprilia racers and their chassis race in MotoGP. It's a race bike, rather than street and it does have twin injectors per cylinder, so that's a good start.

V Due could probably be resurrected with DFI and maybe a second injector in the throttle body for high load conditions.

I'm all for it, but prefer my cylinders arranged upright in a square four patten, 500cc Gamma style.

Did you guys know that two companies still mass produce a 2 stroke and are sold in the states ? One of those two companies, never stopped. I didn't know it myself, until I was recently surprised. It somewhat blew my mind, when I found out one of the two actual models it is. Honda and others have been talking about the possibilities for sometime. No cheating, by Googling. I'm guessing the V4 at 200 hp would sell for at least 50 grand. If it fruits into reality. So, I'll never see one. :D
