Have you had issues with fouling recently? I guess a little background might help, I assumed you were just asking general questions about the SRIS system. Yes, two strokes burn oil so I would agree they could be more susceptible to fouling, but if it's running properly, the oil is just that, burnt. If you are fouling plugs check the heat range of your plug perhaps it is too cold a plug, check ignition timing and carbs. If everything checks out and you're still fouling plugs then you very well could have bad seals and are burning trans oilGTX-R550 wrote: Mm I think fouling plugs can be pretty common with two strokes from just burning the two stroke oil, but I don't want to step on toes and speak too far out of my experience (this is my first two stroke build).

Not really. I've had them for years and they shouldn't oil if you use the correct oil in the right amounts with the right plugs.GTX-R550 wrote: Mm I think fouling plugs can be pretty common with two strokes from just burning the two stroke oil.
The later models with forced lubrication (rather than the petroil mix models) rarely oiled a plug, and then only if left ticking over for an extended period.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

They are very good on service. A you say, not the cheapest but parts cost what they cost.
Also try Robinsons Foundry or Crooks Suzuki in the UK.
