In good condition.
I want to replace the front brake caliper on my GT550 with a SV caliper and move it to the rear of the fork leg, then I can't use the stock fender because the struts will come into conflict. The RE5 fender has different struts and will fit right on.

Re: Wanted: Suzuki RE5 front fender
If it was the one by mistermonkeyclaw I saw it, it looked nice at first sight but it was unfortunately damaged. Had a very visible nasty dent at the front, and several dings. Seller said it had no damage, only a few dings. Not so, unfortunately... So I passed on it.
Not easy to fix as it was too sharp and on the edged profile. Could perhaps consider it if it was at the rear and less visible.

Re: Wanted: Suzuki RE5 front fender
I have a really, really rusty one at home...
But, you could use the GT one buy just eliminating the strut altogether.
There's plenty enough stiffness in the guard to do without it I'd reckon - they're more there for looks than actual support.
I could be wrong but I think the 380 or 250 came from the factory without the rear/bottom strut?
EDIT: The 250, 380 and 550 lost their front/top struts from '76 onwards...

Re: Wanted: Suzuki RE5 front fender
Yes, I have thought about just removing the struts, or get a GS fender. That is an option if I can't find a decent RE5 fender.
I really like the look of the RE5 fender, it has a nice slightly raised center profile as well as short struts and is slightly shorter overall, which I think looks very good on the bike, so that's my primary choice.
