Crankshaft

Post by irish1 »

Hi, can someone tell me when Suzuki changed the 2 inner flywheels on the 500 or is it just on the gt models. The later style should be easier to line up with less chance off twisting. I have a 73 model and was hoping a 75 had this up date. Thanks for any help.

in what way do you mean change?? most T's have a seperate centre pin later T's and GT had the centre pin as part of the web, as for alignment on assembly there is no difference between the two

Thanks Pete, I guess it was the pin integeral with the web I was going on about. I remember a post you had sometime ago where you stated you try to find the newer style of crank to reduce the chance of twisting. Thank you again for your replys.
