Re: 2.15x18 rims + 4.00x18 tires in T350
When I rode my T350 in the 1972 Castrol 6 Hour race a 350x18 front tyre was fitted as the regulations did not specify standard tyre sizes must be fitted. The reason for using a 350 tyre was to increase ground clearance and raise cornering speeds.
The following year when I rode the same bike in the 6 Hour, race regulations required fitting the stock 300x18 front tyre.
Using the smaller tyre meant I had to wear the footrest ends down to stubs to achieve equivalent cornering clearance but handling was unaffected with either sized tyre.
Nowadays I just use the 300 front tyre.

Thank you joethebike and GT750Battleship for information.
I go for the 2.15x18 rims + 3.50x18 tires.
It will be a (flat) tracker, so the front and rear tires should be the same. : Lol:
Does anyone have a suggestion for what kind of tyre I can go? [/ B]
Please let me now.

I asked a similar question a few years ago.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3968
recommended tires with wider-than-stock rims were:
front of 90/90-18
rear of 100/90-18 or 110-80-18

Thanks Jabcb,
For this advise.
90/90-18 is almost the same as 3.50-18
I didn't no that you ask it also on the forum... sorry for it.
