GT380 carb bellmouth damage

Post by jezdye »

Hi, has anyone managed to successfully pull a dent out of the side of the carb bellmouth on a GT380 (it looks like it's been dropped on its side?). It'll affect the flow of air i suspect so i need to know if there's any way i can 'pull' it back out and to as near origional shape as possible without splitting or damaging it beyond repair. Many thanks in advance. :D

Heat and prayer.
(Don't use heat while it smells of petrol though!!)
