crankshaft balance

Post by irish1 »

Hi, can anyone tell me what balance factor to use to rebalance a t500 crank, thinking of going with 60-63% but would welcome some advise. Also, is it just the gt500 that has the splines for the center section or does any of the later t models have them aswell. Thanks for any input.

Pete, thanks for the reply, maybe I used the wrong term, I'm refering to othe way the 2 inside flywheels are lined up, I thought the later cranks had some kind of ? For want of a better word splines to stop the two halfs from twisting? Can you give me any input on the crank balance factor to use. Maybe I'm asking for something thats only for your use and if so I understand. Hope to here back either way.
