WANTED: 74-77 CARB BOWL PLEASE HELP OFFER $50
If someone has a spare 74-77 750 carb bowl that has jets that can easily be removed, willing to express mail it to my address in Pa. I will offer you a whopping $50. My restoration is complete, however it turns out that my one bowl with a pilot jet not being properly seated is in fact giving me a problem. I thought things were fine with the bike due to only having a very brief minute to look things over. After further inspection. It's not firing on that cylinder. Someone, please be so kind to help me get this Buffalo roaming before the cold weather sets in, lol ! I'll make it worth your while.

You still need one? I'm pretty sure I have a spare I can let go to a new home.
edit.
I have one with a stripped pilot jet just like yours and one good spare you are welcome to. PM me your address and I'll get it in the mail.
While the carbs are off though, please double check the airways through teh carb body. They are tiny and easily blocked - as are the bypass and pilot jet outlets.

It's definitely the bowl. The tip of the old jet I believe still remains inside as I had no choice but to drill it out. An extractor could not accomplish removing it as it would only spin as a result of soft brass and concrete like old gasoline seizing it to the threads. Reason, I could not properly seat the new jet all the way. I installed that bowl on the choke side to remember which bowl it was if it created a problem when I first attempted to fire the bike up. Sure enough, that cylinder is not firing most of the time. The new jet is causing fuel to flood the carb and it's flowing out the over flow tube on that cylinder. I also installed brand new jet needles, so that isn't the problem. Without a doubt in my mind, it's the bowl. I triple checked everything. Plus, I assumed that it may cause a problem with that cylinder and sure enough it did. I soaked and cleaned everything for very extensive periods. I rushed nothing. And properly cleaned every single orifice with wire and soaked them for a month. Float height, checked a dozen times and is spot on. Plus, if it wasn't the cylinder would still fire up until the point it was flooded.
