gt250 and t250 cylinder compatability

gt250 and t250 cylinder compatability

couldn't find a parts cross reference and need to be sure on this one...does anyone know if the cylinders from a 75 gt250 will fit the a 71 t250r? they look the same, but wanted to verify in advance.thanks..

I would say yes.
100%: GT250-RamAir-cylinders will fit to a T250-crankcase #T250-56573.
Later cylinders (from 1976 on) with 4 transfer ports will not fit (modified bolt spacing)

thanks a bunch markus. i knew they had the same bore and stroke, but wanted to be certain. much appreciated.
