Can't seem to find the part number for the eyelet and wing nut that secures the air filter in place..Mine seems to have mysteriously disappeared.
On line or the parts part shows no part number.
Can someone help with the number .
Thanks
Ian
Edit
Well I just walked outside to the garage and noticed something in the grass..bent to to have a look and there it was..
Must have walked past this a 100 times looking for it the last day..

It took a vacation and then came back. That's why you were unable to find it earlier
Stuff like that happens to me all the time. I turn the place upside down looking for something and finally give up. The next week I go looking for something else and what I was looking for last week miraculously appears. Or I can search for a wrench that I just used. Even looking under junk that hasn't been moved in years. That usually shows up in my back pocket. I checked there first and it wasn't there and now it is!
Everyone knows tools are sly little devils. Besides the job they were meant for, they are also used to confound our lives.
Glad you found your part!

I hate it when they hide things. I had the same thing today with a clutch holding tool. I know where I put it and when I went to grab it, it was missing. I looked everywhere but it was nowhere to be found, so I went for a cuppa. When I came back tea in hand, there was the tool, not two feet from where it was last seen.
You might think that I put it there and just didn't remember it, or that I just didn't see it, but there's no way that was what happened. It was definitely gremlins, or other spirits.
