Muskegon Bike Time & Red's Place - 2013

This weekend (7/20 - 7/21) is the annual motorcycle festival in Muskegon, Michigan. It seems to get larger every year and is always a great event. One of the cornerstones from our local GT chapter (Red) lives nearby and sets up a sort of base camp each year that is always very memorable. He asked me to extend the invite to our community here, anyone who wants to come is welcome! There's always too much food and plenty of lodging via campers set up for the occasion. We usually have a good turnout with the GT's but of course whatever gets you there is fine.

I would have liked to have come, this years work schedule is crazy- 647 hours of overtime this year already and its not letting up! Not complaining, I happy to be employed, we also have 2 young kids (3 and 5) so there just isn't much time for anything else.

They close off Main St. and have a vehicle show (cars, bikes, geared up riding lawnmowers, what ever..) every Wed.

I'd like to go to Muskegon next year!

Too bad you couldn't make it but I definitely understand with young kids and long hours. Niles looks like a great event. Too bad it's nowhere near my neck of the woods. Hope you can make it to Muskegon next year.
