Oops, I forgot to ask him about rod availability. I'll try to remember next time I speak to him, which should be on Friday (ties knot in hankie as a reminder)

Cheers Geoff

(edit)
Well, you now know the eBay price, includes everything you would need by the looks of it (incl. small end)

Hi at everybody
On a bicycle race we can do all we want but not on a bicycle road.
If you put a 750 rod on a 500T the cylinder must be 5mm lower so, very difficult to put on the exaust, I think aslo impossible and prehaps also difficulties with carburators.
The Big End bering 750 and 500 are differents, the 750 is thinner, it is not good for guiding.
The T500 BE bearing is 24/30/22 and we can put a new BE bearing (PROX) for 250 2 stroke if I remember, expensive BE bearing but very good for T500 with origin con rod.
The 750 lubrication is different than the 500, that is the reason for differents foot and head thicknesses.

Don't forget I have longer connecting rod adapted for T500 (137.5mm) with 1mm washer to put plug and play on a road or race bicycle
Those con rods come from a 500 2 stroke monocylinder

I have also main bearings, external or internal rebuilt with polyamid cage, iron bush made (not alloy, wrong for this use)
