Re: 1968 cobra parts
The header pipes are readily available on Ebay, depends on what kind of condition you are looking for. The rest of items your looking for are very hard to come by, especially the front fender. There was a rechromed one on Ebay a few months ago, missing the stays and it went for over $400.00. As Ian said in your other post, there are several of us restoring a Cobra right now, including me.

This is 34955-15000 ? PM had these recently, so it might be worth calling him. Failing that, if you have one then you could copy it yourself in urethane. Most hobby shops sell everything you need. In addition to eBay, those header pipes can be bought from Suzuki in the States still for $114 USD each. As Fred has mentioned - the other parts are like rocking horse poo.Builder53 wrote:...tach rubber grommet between tach housing and mount...

Re: 1968 cobra parts
While walking (i do alot of that ) I thought if it cost sooo much to find a front fender why not fabricate it ? i am sure i could source a rough stamping but the important info would be precise measurements (ANYONE?????????) if you know of some one whom has this fender and could take the time to measure it.oldjapanesebikes wrote:This is 34955-15000 ? Re: 1968 cobra parts
The down pipe (header as you call it) is the same for all years. Fenders from other years will fit your bike, it's just that the Cobra fender was unique for that year. Do you have the original?Builder53 wrote:maybe some one can give me a heads up of what is a correct style of header pipe , 68 to 72?

Re: 1968 cobra parts
Going back to an earlier comment I offered, compared to the pump, rocking horse poo is actually quite common.Builder53 wrote:just had a brain fart what about that air pump!!!!!mounted to the frame is that hard to get?

What most people do is modify an old bicycle air pump. To see what they actually look like - take a look here. Just click on any photo for a larger version.
