Hey there Eric,
I'm having a similar issues with my compression with my gt750 the only difference is that I did a full engine rebuild. Water pump, crank bearing and seals, new piston and rings. Bored out to 70.5mm. Carbs have been rebuilt and rejetted with a 3 to 1 exhuast system. I did a compression test because I"m having a hard time setting up my carbs and all the cylinders are showing 87 psi's. The engine is running but I have not had it out for a test drive. Not really sure why the compression is so low maybe the rings haven't settled. I posted this already and I'm just waiting for someone to responed. At this point I'm at a loss and I hope I don't have to pull the engine out.
Any advice and or sugestions are welcomed.
Thanks,
Mark

Re: low compression
It's covered in your other post, but try a different gauge and test that gauge on a different motor to see if that's the issue.
