Where to buy new intake boots ?
I have one boot that has deep spider cracks in different places ? Where can I buy new ones for a 75 550 ? And do these boots have an o ring on the end that attaches to the manifold ?

Part 13111-34100 at $15 and change each from Suzuki ? And no o-ring - just check one of the on-line fiches. I use this one:

Re: Where to buy new intake boots ?
I have proven once before that the chances of them leaking air is about a million to one. I dissected one and it's the way they are made. Three pieces. inner rubber. a very heavy layer of cloth (like canvas) and the outer rubber. Minor cracks on the outside mean nothing because they only go to the layer of cloth and stop. Study the INSIDE of the tubes and I bet you will find no cracks.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

That's good to know. And you're probably correct as I have no vacuum leaks or running issues. Even though the cracks are fairly severe.Coyote wrote:I have proven once before that the chances of them leaking air is about a million to one. I dissected one and it's the way they are made.
