Good morning all. I am in the process of replacing the front brake pads on my 1974 GT750. I purchased a set of EBC pads. The non floating pad has a screw in the original, but the EBC is not threaded, only a hole there. Any help on this will be appreciated.
Just a note on my pipe from Omars; I haven't got it yet. Coming up on four weeks since it was paid for. He seems like a nice enough guy, but I am not impressed with his contact or delivery. I hope the pipe is worth the wait. I will certainly let everyone know.
Thanks.

Re: Aftermarket brakes
I've noticed that EBC is not too big on the small details like you've mentioned.
SBS, though, seems more in tune with older bikes and the little details like threaded holes and such.
No guarantee that their 750 pads will be exactly correct but at the price of pads, it's worth a shot.

Re: Aftermarket brakes
Thanks. I will keep them in mind. I rebuilt the master cylinder and replaced the hoses, finally got a short test ride yesterday. Brakes work really well, so I guess they are OK. Seems like a little thing, but you would think a major supplier would address such things.
