I got a new bike! Actually it's not new and not even new to me. A couple of years ago I sold my 1979 GS1000. It found a new home in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The new owner and I kept in touch, and when he said he needed to sell I said I'd take it back! Selling it was one of those things I'd wished I hadn't done, so I was very happy to get it back.
Last week I went up there and brought the bike home. Kevin and his wife Nita hosted me for five days and took me out for rides in the area. I had a great time. Best motorcycle buying trip ever!
Here's a photo of the bike back home in my driveway:
Together again. This bike is a keeper. I won't be selling it again!

Some things are meant to be. Well done Debby. So many of us let a bike go and regret it for such a long time (sad suckers aren't we ). Polish her within and inch of her life and ride her often.
