Oh... Could anyone tell me, what is needed to make the gt 550 twin brake disc? and what model year have the forks ready for an extra caliper?

Happy new year from Denmark..

Allan:
You'll need the front end from a 1974 to 1976 550 or 750 to have a double disk setup on a 550.

If you DO get a later 550 front end, then you will ALSO need the following bits from a 1974 to 1976 GT750:

AA) master cylinder
BB) LEFT hand caliper, caliper mounting bracket and associated bolts
CC) upper hose from master cylinder to splitter block and left hand hose from splitter block
to caliper
DD) extra brake rotor with mounting bolts
EE) miscellanous hose retaining brackets

The 1977 models of both the 550 and the 750 use ASCO calipers and I'm not sure if those parts are compatible with the earlier TOKICO pieces used. That's why you should stick to the 1974 through 1976 models for parts.
