New to the site

Post by Ernievmar »

Hey everyone , I am new to the site as well as new to the gt 750 scene. Just picked a project up and got it running. I was wondering if anyone could recommend to buy replacement parts as well as customs parts for these bikes. Thanks in advance, Ernie

Welcome aboard, where are the pics of the bike?! :D

I get most of my OEM through MRcycles and Bike Bandit.

Welcome Ernie.

What sort of parts were you thinking about? Pipes are available depending on where you are located, carbs too and seats are not too hard. Bars lights switches etc are all fairly easy to do. rear sets take a little more work but Fast From The Past may have something. Shocks and front suspension upgrades are all possible. New frame perhaps from Framecrafters or a TR replica.

Tanks take a little more effort, but there are a couple of people here who can point you to a custom tank builder if that's your thing.

How far were you thinking of taking it?

There are a few customs here that members have built over the years including Filth's Incredible Kettle with IZAX frame and GSXR100K5 suspension, Ron Moolenaar's cafe Racer, SuzukiDave has a couple of amazing bikes and I'm sure other will come to mind if I think for a moment.
