An amazing story, at least to me.

Post by jkevinlilly »

In 1977, at the tender age of 17, I bought a 76 GT550. I had it for about 6 years. During that time I put hard saddlebags, crash bar, luggage rack, and a king-n-queen seat on it. Around 1982, having collected a wife and daughter, a motorcycle no longer fit in my lifestyle, so I sold it to a cousin. He then sold it to his dad, my uncle. In 2007 I bought the same bike back, minus the saddlebags, rebuilt the engine and made other various repairs needed due to time.

This past weekend during a family reunion, the same uncle said he had found some old motorcycle stuff in his attic, and had brought it to me. In a box were the saddlebags, mounting hardware, and the original seat foam, seatcover, and chrome trim.

Who says miracles can't happen???? :D :D :D :D :D
