Currently I'm using BR8ES plugs, I have non-resistor wires on my coils so I'm using resistor plugs.

When I get back to the house, they all look good, that lovely dry light to chocolate brown color.

As far as the gas cap, I know it is venting, I double checked that. I am running an inline fuel filter rather than the screens on the petcock, I should take my petcock apart and check to see if that is getting clogged or something.

I know the carbs are cleaned out, they have been cleaned at least 2 times completely since I had the off the bike. HOwever the float height just might be the issue since I really didn't set it, I just kind of eyeballed it.

Check the screen in the bottom of the petcock. Also check the vacuum line for cracks/leaks etc... Try running the bike without the inline filter. A few inexpensive things to look at!!
Rick, you can hear the rustle of the pistons!! On a good day, if I close my eyes I can SEE the pistons sliding up and down in their bores!! I guess you're married too and spend your evenings out in the man cave!!

I took the bike on another ride today. Went about 15 miles. I kept the revs up this time when putt putting around. INstead of putting it in 5th and going 25 down the road, I would keep it in 3rd or 4th and keep the revs up higher.

No popping or spitting at all. i talked to my buddy about it and he said that exactly what i was describing was plugs loading up and said to keep the revs up higher than Im used to.

Bobo, of course you've got to keep the revs up !!!
You're riding a semi-high performance two stroke and NOT some low-revving 4 stroke piece of ancient agricultural equipment or
irrigation pump.
I can't believe you'd drive around town in 5th gear at 25 MPH.
Try that with an H1 or H2 Kawasaki and they'd spit you off the seat like a bucking bronco.
At least your Suzi is somewhat more civilized.
Keep her spun up and she'll be faaarrrr happier.
