I was going to ask a question about my recently acquired X-6 and the clutch. The PO (or sinful bastard) said the clutch was "stuck" But I think the answer is a new clutch, this is one nasty, rusty, diseased unit.
Here's another look

Easy is a relative term I'm afraid I suspect your only option is to crack the cases.
Looking at the photo, while it doesn't look great, it also is a little bit hopeful as the corrosion seems largely localised to the clutch basket. You won't know till you have it apart further. On mine, I did experiment with some Evap-o-rust which does a nice job of de-rusting, but the gear teeth faces were pitted so I ended up replacing almost everything except the cases

If at first you don't succeed, just get a bigger hammer !
It does seem mostly limited to the clutch basket so I will remain optimistic. I think my plan will be to take care of what I can do simply, fix the clutch, replace cables, plugs, carbs are clean, then throw some fresh gas in her and see what happens. Oh I guess I will have to learn about points and such!
