Sadly thats the state most B models are found in, I'm not sure why but maybe its a disease.
T cut indeed, its going to need a lot more than that, but its still salvageable even if only for parts.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

So Allan, exactly which part of the gas tank would you be salvaging? There seem to be a few of them.

What's the story on this bike? We gotta know!
No really... it's supposed to smoke.

Josh, the fuel filler door, the petcock and possibly the mount rubbers might still be good on that tank.

NO, which part of the TANK is still usable? I see some of it is still in it's original home above the frame but other parts appear to be resting on the engine and still more can be seen littering the ground. It appears to be in overall record bad shape but I agree, some parts could be salvaged. I imagine most of the aluminum parts could be brought back to their original shine it's just a matter of how much polishing someone wants to do. This would be one hell of a resto if someone has the time/money. And like you said there aren't many B models around any more.

Wow, what a fantastic find John. Can you get it for pennies?
Suppose the engine is locked up?
We dream of finding one like that.......nothing there that can't be sorted.
Too good to break in my opinion.

I resurected this B model from a barn find in Kansas. Everything was locked up. Motor stuck and the rear wheel stuck. But the pipes were nice so I shelled out the $300 for it. Seller loaded the bike on my trailer with a gin pole truck. 8) I have since sold the bike to board member Shannon in AU.

I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thats a gorgeous bike. I would have had a hard time parting with it. I can only hope my bike comes out that nice. Great job.
