GT750 Rings

Post by Suzukidave »

I am to the point to check end gap on my new rings so i slide in a set but the end gap looks way wide even without measureing . These are suppose to be .5 over rings that i purchased online and the number on them is 12140-30010 and that looks more like the stock bore size but the number doesnt match up to my parts listing as the stock # is 31010 .. but it still looks like i have stock rings and i need .5 over .. bummer :( anyone need a stock set of rings ?

DAve,

From what I could see, that part number is the new part number for ring sets but should be followed with "- 050" .

Do the rings have a "5" on the top surface by any chance? If not they sound like someone supplied the wrong parts.

And I haven't touched mine for weeks since the weather turned to crap again and now it looks like it might get good, I have some serious clean up to do in the garden before the garden walk in two weeks time. I managed to rip out a couple of old shrubs and planted 8 or so boxwoods plus a couple of other interesting shrubs.

I still have to clean up all the damage from spring rain storms where mud and mulch migrated to the lowest points in the garden. And of course there's always work to distract me.

You will still get there before me at this rate... :x
