In Seville Spain, local people found a way to stop the construction of another mosque in their town. They buried a pig on the site, and made sure this would be known by the local press.

The Islamic rules forbid the erecting of a Mosque on "pig soiled ground." The Muslims had to cancel the project. This land was sold to them by government officials.

No protests were needed by the local people...and it worked!

Quite frankly, I think it's a priceless example of non-violent protest, as I posted above.
I'm sick and tired of people moving to another country and trying to turn the NEW country into a sinkhole like the country they left behind.
Sure you can have your religion, assuming it doesn't involve advocating the violent overthrow of the popularly elected government, human sacrifices, beheadings in the town square at high noon, female genital mutilation, "honour" killings and stoning to death of lesser "criminals".
Those acts are not accepted activities in any modern democracy I'm aware of.
However, should you wish to CONTINUE with such mediaeval behaviour, you're welcome to return to the benighted pesthole you came from originally. I'll even chip in for your return tickets.
