I was just going to mention Higgspeeds. That's what I have on my GT750 now and although they can be a bit pricey the quality is excellent.
No really... it's supposed to smoke.

Hmmmmmm, that rear sprocket looks alarmingly small.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

About a 1982 GS450 I think, although they could also be Melbers I suppose. 8)

If of course you want cheap and shiny undeveloped pipes from unqualified inexperienced sellers with about ten minutes experience you could waste money on a previous posters goods

so I guess thats you out then Pedro

Pedro - the JL pipes for the GT750 do look nice, but he doesn't actually list anything for the T500. He has done them in the past though ?

All jokes aside can anyone who has stainless pipes recommend any brand?

Even comments on any particular brand. I want a pair but not that style kicked up at the tail pipe.

Do you have to make jetting changes?

I had some made for my 500K back in 74 but they were crap - way too loud and didn't make the bike run all that well. Only nice feature was the under the frame styling exiting just in front of the rear wheel. Classic form over function.
