Agreed. Anyone who has an interest in DIY has to start somewhere. Even professional engine builders had to start by rebuilding their first engine and my guess is that they didn't do it on their own with no resources. My first engine rebuild was accomplished by using many resources...a manual was just one of them. Figuring out what resources you need (and finding them) is part of the fun...at least in my case.
