Re: Lets see the 500 customs
Here are a few pictures of a bike we just completed for a customer.....and delivered today 14/03/11.
By the way....he was delighted with the finished result !
PS.....sorry to post links not pics, but still got problems putting pictures on.

Great job on this bike! Really like the trick seat mount as well as the other body work. What paint color did you end up using...is it a match to the stock T500 blue or a different color?

Mine redux...
The clipons and low seat height were a pain. It's over to Dad now for paint etc. I don't do purty. Chrome don't get ya home.

CJF.......that colour on the Titan Performance bike was chosen by the customer, he wanted a Harley colour that he had seen....but we couldn't get the paint. The colour was the closest match we could find to it....it was Teal Sunglow or something like that ! It's a pearl colour, as is the white stripe, and to be truthful the pictures don't do it justice !
Fatboy.....I really like the "purposeful tough" look of your 500. I'm just starting a refurb on my other T500m, and I too am opting for naked with flat drag bars, although I shall be keeping the stock tank in stock colour....
I'm interested in your oil tank, is that a one off you have made, or is that available to buy? We are using a similar item, with the filler on top, only accessible from under a hinged seat, which I like, but it's not easy to hinge every seat.......

Where did you get the tank you used on JT's bike? It looks like a TR500 style tank, but doesn't have the sump that goes between the frame rails.
