Hardy ha ha! You guys are too funny (not)!
All kidding aside, I'd like to hear what you did for your better half on Valentine's Day?
Or did you just skip it all together?

Re: valentine pressy
I can't tell.
Naw she actually took me out to eat....Three Times.... and I let Her.
I got Her a Pot of Cala Lilies from Lowes and a Stuffed Ladybug.I spent all the Time with her I could this weekend.Couldn't spend much since times are tight.
I had to resort to a Hand Made Valentines card.Couldn't Afford Paper so I wrote it out on a Beer Box Flap i found behind the truck seat.it read as follows.
Girl you Know I Love you BUT
Money's Tight
Times are Hard
Here's your F#&$%* Valentines Card.
OK we Did go out and eat and I bought Her the Flowers at Lowes and the Stuffed Ladybug at Wally World.

Took the lovely Mrs Digger to Cairo for a long weekend for her birthday - we were strolling in Tahrir Square just ten days before the uprisingJoiseygirl wrote:Hardy ha ha! You guys are too funny (not)!![]()

For Valentines Day, I presented her with a canvas print of the two of us on camels in front of the pyramids, from a photo taken by the camel driver while I leaned across to give her a snog

Not only that, but I actually hung it in the bedroom.

And as a bonus, this time I got my camera back!

Oh, and here's the pic !

Wow Digger, I'm impressed. Good job!
You too Juggie, for most women it's all about the thought and effort that her man puts into it.

Re: valentine pressy
Why is it that it seems one sided, women always want equal rights and I'm all for it, so what did the ladies do for their guys on Valentines Day.

Re: valentine pressy
Since both myself and the new ladyfriend had to work, I had a flower arrangement sent to her work. The following day I got a very nice phone call from her thanking me, saying they were beautiful.

Oh Kevin that's so nice. Our office was filled with flower arrangements. One of the younger girls got one with a card that said " I can't stop thinking about you". She "claims" she doesn't have a clue as to who it is. The fellow still hasn't revealed his identity. Scary cat
Smokey, I know it's not fair, but Valentines Day is mostly for the women. (Hey,I didn't write the rules!) With that said, my guy got the best gift of all, my heart, body and soul. And he made sure he wished me a Happy Valentine's Day at the stroke of midnight, a very romantic man indeed. I love him, he's a keeper.
