Prayer request

Post by Zook-e »

I don't post on here as much as I once used to, but today I was quite blindsided with a call from family. My father, Karl Kalamaja has just been diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer. He has been given 6 months to a year. For all of you who pray, please add my Father.

I lost a family member to the same many years ago, but science has come a long way since then. I work with someone who has been battling it for over 5 years.

My prayers for your father and your family.

Thanks everyone. Yes it is tough. But I have to be tough and not let all those good things Dad has passed on to me fall by the wayside. I need to keep his legacy alive. Us children are his legacy as well as all who he has touched in his life. And yes we plan to make the rest of his life a good one for himself and us. We must be proud and thankful he was allowed to have this long a life on earth with us.

We all could have gone at any time. Dad lived in Dortmund Germany during WWII and was drafted into Hitler Youth at the age of 9 and was to serve in an Antiaircraft Batallion at the age of 13. The war ended on May 8. Dad's Birthday is May 9. Dortmund was heavily bombed being an industrial city. He never knew if he was going to wake up the next morning. He even joked yesterday that he reads the Obits to see if he passed away. During the hard times gallows humor really comes out.

Thanks,

Eric and Julie Kalamaja

Eric you may want to see if your dad wants to try Essiac Tea.If you do a search for it you will find all kinds of Information on it and How it got started.Being an Herbalist of sorts I believe that Most Plants Hold the key to Healing our Bodies.I experiment with Herbs all I can without going to the Doctor and I feel I do a Pretty Good Job.I mean I have to do Something because I have No Insurance and Have to scrape and Scrounge to pay what little Doctor Bills I have Now.I have one Prescription left on my Muscle Relaxers that they have me on that really don't work but I have to Keep Taking them because I just can't quit taking them Cold Turkey.Anyway What I am Trying to get at is Modern medicine Has it's roots into the Herbal Remedies.Drug Companies Have found ways of making Drugs Other ways Synthetically and Easily. The Last Doctor I went to pretty well called Herbalists Quacks then Put me on the Medicine that causes Strokes and Heart Attacks.
If Nothing Else the Tea May make His Life a Little Easier through this Battle. As you Know they do Prescribe Marijuana to Help Cancer patients. It has it's Own uses and Cancer is probably the Best Use for it.Another thing to look into would be Kava Kava.It works as an all around Relaxant,Pain Killer and Anti Anxiety/Depression Medicine.Believe me the Kava works very well.In My Opinion Better than anything Like Zanax or Soma. The Juice works Very Fast and Very hard. The Kava Pills Work Much Slower and you can Kind of Control the Effects with amount of Pills taken. The Pills also don't carry the Nasty Taste of the Juice.
If you want to find out More Eric Just Shoot me a PM and I'll send you my Cell Number and we can talk about what Little I know about the best place to get Herbs. The legal Kind anyway.
