On that model, don't you just flick the switch on and off on the handle bar as required ?
Seriously - it's the round can you showed in the photo you posted and should be mounted on the electrical terminations plate under the left side cover in the area of (likely above) the rectifier. Is yours missing completely ?

If at first you don't succeed, just get a bigger hammer !
Hi Scorch,
The turn signal flasher you asked about, is mounted on the front lower left hand edge of the battery box. If you remove the left hand side panel you should be able to see it, bit fiddily to fit.
My 380 had an aftermarket flasher fitted when I bought it and the signals used to slow down and eventually stop, got a NOS relay which works perfectly.

Ok, thanks guys. Terry's comment about "flasher relay" threw me for a loop. I will have a look for it tomorrow, thanks, and see about replacing it with something basic from Autozone.
I ordered a front and rear set for my GT750L from this vendor. Quality looks to be good, and though I asked for red lenses for the rear, he misunderstood me, and sent red reflectors by separate mail. Turns out that he doesn't carry the red lenses.
Ok, removed the left side cover, the flasher is between the battery box and the air filter, and right behind the frame member. Looks like the battery box has to come out to get to it.
