Re: GT750 front fender questions
Oooooo Oooooo Oooooo i'm gonna get one of those black unpainted ones for the Lil orange monster.
I've been looking for a fender to fit it and only have a Fork brace on it now.It sucks riding through a puddle of water.lol Just Hope the Curve is right for the 19" Rim.the last fender I got I cut a 1/2" section out of the Middle to Narrow it but the Curve of the Fender was off really bad.

Hang me from the Tree of Shame.Damn! I forgot the Rope.

Re: GT750 front fender questions
The curve should be good. The mounting bolts were a little more off than I thought. No biggie though - I can either drill new holes(there's plenty of room) or make a small bracket. Either way will make it look great. I'll use a chain over the tire and rest the fender on that to give me my clearance. I hate to say where I got that little fabrication trick....duho...

Re: GT750 front fender questions
Received my fender from Sportster Specialty a few days ago and checked the fit out tonight.Looks good to be Meant for a Harley but I'm gonna have to do some Modifying to fit my Lil Orange Monster.Looks like it needs to be Lowered at least an Inch and New holes drilled.I don't like the Looks of the El Cheapo Chiwan Rivets holding the fender to the Bracket so I may take the Mig and put a few tack welds here and there to help hold it.
Once I find some Orange and black High heat Engine paint I'll be set.the Local Auto Parts that sold Plasti cote Closed Last year and Kind of left me out of a Place to get it easily.

Re: GT750 front fender questions
No one here sells plasti-kote anymore. Imagine that in a city the size of Tulsa. The last place I was able to get it was a Bumper to Bumper store. They changed their policy and now sell to dealers only. How many dealers are gonna order a can?
Being SOL I had to resort to Dupli-Color. Surprisingly their high temp paint with ceramic works quite well. The chambers on my red 550 are painted with it and they have stood up nicely.

I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Yeap Coyote that was where I found the Plasti Kote I used at Bumper to Bumper.I may try VHT at O'Reilly's.Bumper to Bumper was a Good Auto Parts Company. My Friend Rick Ran the Local B to B for Years and I had a Charge Account with them Since I was 15 Years Old.
I really do miss it because when I work on a vehicle i have to Drive 14 Miles either way to get parts.
