ATTENTION MONSIEUR DINOGT

Post by diamondj »

Dino,

Have you ever seen this movie:

"LE CHEVAL DE FER"

someone posted a clip of Phil Read on the MV from this movie on the WERA board:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JTDVPFK ... ata_player" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and I saw that Jack Findlay and Barry Sheene are also in it - possibly riding TR500's??? Do you know of this movie and is it still available in France? I searched both Amazon UK and Ebay UK with no result.

Merci!

Jim

It is just what I am thinking about.
We or I can do a list of person interesting in a new post
When I know the person number I can know how much it does with the shipping.
I send only one shipping from France to USA and when the dvd arrived at diamondj'house by example, he send the others dvd at the others persons.
Or I do 1 shipping by dvd
You can pay me by paypal, one by onewhen I'll know how much it'll cost.
The shipping for 1kg is 22€ and 29€for 2kg...
I don't take any money on this affair.

Merci Dino!

I would like one as well. I could volunteer to be the US "base" on this if need be. I am the one that asked about this DVD after all. Dino do you know what "region" this DVD is? That might make a difference to some if they cannot play it on their region 1 DVD players here in the USA.

Thank you again,

Jim

Hey John,

I thought pal applied only to video tape and then they assign "region" numbers for DVDs?

I do a mistake and arrange it.

The link to find the DVD
http://www.motomag.com/Le-cheval-de-fer.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Motomag is doing by FFMC (Federation Française des Motards en Colère) whitch is doing many for motobike in France since 27 years

The web site appears to say that it's DVD 9 which I took to mean region 9 = whole world. It could just mean that it's DVD-9 spec which is 12cm, 8.5 Gb, 2 layer.

Only one way to find out I guess.

If they mean region 9 that's fine. If they mean that size/number of layers, then not so good.

We have access to a multi-region DVD player so we can play DVDs from anywhere, but our cheap US player only plays region1.

If it's of interest I could buy a copy and try it on both DVD players and report back, but at $13 it's not a big risk.

There are 2 regions and I don't think your DVD player less good than our !
You can't copy this DVD, it's written on
Attention, the price is about 14€ + the shipping into France , I think 5€ + the shipping from France to USA (new York or Philadelphia, the same price)...about 22€ (1kg maxi) = above 41€ + paypal charge 4% = 43€ = 43 = 57$

I went to that website and tried to order one just to see what the cost would come out to. Euro14.95 for the video plus 27 euro to ship. That's a 50 dollar video. I may have to wait for the next time I'm in France.
