1972 T500 Parts for Sale

Post by CaptCatFish »

Hi Everybody,

I've parted out a spare 1972 Suzuki T500 and subsequentially have quite a few parts left over that I'm never going to use in my T500 restoration project. These parts include exhaust pipes, headers, flanges, side engine cases, gas tank, luggage rack, front fender, chain guard, battery box, etc. etc. Most of the parts are a bit rusty and will need repainting or re-chroming to be in top shape.

If anyone needs any parts for a T500, please ask. If I have it, I'll give you a completely honest appraisal of it, email pictures and give you a very fair price. I need a few bucks to finish my restoration of the Titan not to mention more room in my "ManCave" (i.e., "shop").

Regards

CaptCatFish.

I'm interested in your luggage rack if its Suzuki own.

if any one else after it don't worry I only want to copy it and put it back on here for the same price that I paid for it.john

I'm not sure if this is genuine Suzuki or an aftermarket rack. I'm think I've figured out how to get a picture of it on here so that you can see it. If you want it, "make me an offer I can't refuse'".

Its rusty so I'm sure it'll have to be re-chromed. However, I think your intentions were to use it for a pattern??

I love the picture of your T-500. That's the exact color scheme I want on mine when I finally get far enough along on my resto to paint it (I'm currently in the middle of rebuilding the crankshaft, new top-end, etc.) If you have additional pictures of your bike that you could email or post, I'd love to have them to keep me motivated and minimize my AADD  .

Thanks!

I'm trying very hard to get the info about the front fender to you. For reasons I cannot understand, this site keeps kicking me out.

I've sent a pm to the administrator and will continue trying.

Thanks

Kinda rusty but fundamentally sound. Will definitely need to be re-chromed. $50.00 and I'll pay the shipping.
