Phillipe, That's a great price for a CHT gauge. They are hard to jet with though, compared to a EGT which has more immediate response. What we really need are both in a computerized package that interprets results. For example with detonation, EGT drops and CHT rises. Couple that with a deto counter and a warning system and it could be a really useful tool.

I use a 2 channel CHT as a diagnostic tool and it's useful to compare one cylinder to others on a rebuilt motor. I tend to hook up the center plus one and go for a ride and check CHT and swap to the other outer and see what differences there are. On a GT750, if a slide isn't rising properly, a difference in CHT is easy to see.
