Correct..... the pistons sizes are correct too for each class. I actually really like what Dave is thinking.... Im not sure anyone has done that to a GT750 race motor. I dont know if anyone has tried that yet at all....not even sure that Brett De Stoop did it on his 1000 cc motor.

...very interesting...

Brett had new liners cast for the latest incarnation of his big motor as well as for the last one with a modified stock block.

When you go above a certain transfer width, there is a dearth of metal in certain places that needs to be rectified. You have choices for surgery - either go in through the water jacket or bore out the liners and go in that way. I have a block with a liner bored out and with an access hole in the jacket.

With a big enough bore and extra transfers it's easier to remove the liners and get new ones CNC machined from scratch.
