Unknown gasket

T & GT500 gasket sets.
I've done several rebuilds and each time a strange gasket the one in the middle (see photo) where should it go???

Working from the picture, it looks like the valve cover gasket. 8)

I've tried several times to post the picture but don't seam to work! and used different sites to do it can somebody help?

Which valve cover?

You are talking about one of the four gaskets in the middle ? Oil pump, neutral switch cover, and carburettor gaskets. Only the early models used all the gaskets - after engine 15560 an o-ring was used for the neutral switch cover. 8)
