Re: T575 Steam Triple
wiring finished and tidied. The only item that doesn't work is the low fuel warning light. The tank switch is faulty and a replacement is £75,so that can wait.
GT750 J/K throttle cables and oil pump cable installed, along with a GT750 coolant expansion tank.
radiator cap easily accessible when the front cover of the fuel tank is removed.
fuel system next........................

Re: T575 Steam Triple
the fuel system - standard Triumph T595 (injection) system..........
and my simplified carb system.............
Fuel tap is mounted horizontally so either Fuel On or Reserve position feed fuel to the Mikuni 3-port vacuum fuel pump.
Fuel On position drains tank to tap level, Reserve position scavenges whats left via a dip tube.
But by then I should have a working Lo Fuel warning................

Re: T575 Steam Triple
I made a blanking plate for the front of the plastic Triumph air box, cut 2 holes in the section above it for the inlet tubes and re-located the coolant expansion tank.
Everything now fits under the fuel tank and it's front cover, and the fuel tank is such a snug fit that it actually holds the air box onto the carb inlets, so no securing straps or brackets required.

Re: T575 Steam Triple
Thats ok. "Sorry I haven't got one spare," is a handy excuse if anyone asks you to become a donor. I hear kidneys go for good money these days, so at least you should have enough dough left to finish the bike. The welding on the airbox looks nice by the waygarry55 wrote:yep - but only 1 kidney..............
