I just got this TS125 from a guy up in the mountains near Petros, TN. The bike looks great, except for a torn seat, cracked side cover, rusty tank, and a missing kicker lever. The motor turns easily and has compression, the gears seam to shift smooth. Not a bad deal for $400.00 off CL. I can't wait to get it cleaned up and running. Does anyone have a kicker and blinkers they would sell me. Thanks LM

Re: 1975 TS125 Barn Find Pictures
I took the side cover and chain off to see where this oil was leaking from and it the shift shaft seal, the edge of it is folded up on one side, I've ordered a new one and found a side cover on eBay. I'm going to pressure wash it maybe next week, so I can see where to begin.

Re: 1975 TS125 Barn Find Pictures
Does anyone know if the TS125 1978 kick start lever #26300-29302 will fit the same as a TS125 1975 kicker #26300-28302 (28303 / 28400)? The shape of the kicker is a little different and should not be a problem but I am concerned that the splines/threads may not slide up onto the shaft correctly. I found the 1978 model on eBay but hate to buy unless I'm sure?? Thanks LexPaul

1975 TS125 looking for Spark
I'm messing around with this TS125, in between my other project, so I am wanting to see if I can get spark. I do not have a battery in it. Does this bike have to have a battery in it to have spark when kicking it over? I disconnected the kill switch, turned on the key, and kicked but no spark.
What would you suggest I look at next? Thanks

Re: 1975 TS125 Barn Find Pictures
The bike doesn't need to have a battery in it to get spark. It would be worth while to take off the points, clean them with contact cleaner and then reassemble/gap them. My RV125 had no spark/very weak spark and cleaning the points gave nice blue spark. Good Luck!
