First Start-Up

Post by Madbuffalo »

Work on the GT750 engine rebuild is coming along and I should be ready to do the first start-up in the morning! I was thinking about using pre-mixed gas for the test start as sort of an added safety. All the injector lines are filled pretty well with oil but there are still a couple air bubbles lurking around that worry me. I can't see the premix doing any harm other than probably fowling the plugs. Any thoughts?
No really... it's supposed to smoke.

I usually do the same thing. I know it shouldn't be necessary, and it's all belts and braces, but it doesn't do any harm and makes me feel safer
