I pulled the heads and cylinders from a parts engine. Several of the smaller (8mm?) holes for the studs that hold down the head are bunged-up. Does anyone know if this is a common problem? I suspect they can be heli-coiled but am not sure if it's worth it or not (I have another parts engine I can use.)
Advice, opinions, etc. appreciated as usual.

Bill bunn also repairs striped threads in cyclinders. They get the coils in straight and will also weld up badly damaged holes, drill, and tap.
