howdy all,
i am most of the way done fixing up a 1973 GT250 for my girlfriend, i've got the motor torn down and cleaned up, fresh top end ready to go...
i'm having zero luck finding a seal kit for the bottom end of this motor, i was able to find crank seals from crusin image, but not pushrod/starter/etc...
they list a complete seal kit for a GT550, but i have no clue if that includes the same seals that will work for a 250 bottom end and have had no luck getting them to reply to any of my emails...
does anyone here know a source for these seals, or know if that kit they sell has what i need?
many thanks

Just measure (if the dimensions are not on the seal) and and bearing factors (eg Simply Bearings) should be able to supply you. They should all be pretty much standard seals. Slight differences in thickness are not usually a problem.

Welcome to the forum.

Get a criuzin image gasket set via eBay or directly from them.

Most of the oil seals are still available from Suzuki. Order online or via your local dealer.

The oil seals that are no longer available are typically on eBay — search for the part number (i.e. suzuki #####-#####).

The oil line washers that Suzuki now sells are awful. Get Stat-O-Seal washers for McMaster-Carr or somebody else.

A forum member sells a seal kit for the oil pump on eBay. Be careful — the pump bleed screw has left hand threads.

DO NOT USE COMPRESSED AIR TO FLUSH THE OIL LINES!!! That will ruin the one-way valves. Lots of forum post explain how to deal with the oil lines.
