Not a Suzuki but in rotten weather we had a visit at pub from a 2 stroke club from Rochester.half of them wearing tasty black dustbin liners with arm holes to try to beat the rain.🤣

Almost lost lower right baffle again today as yet more metal has gine from just inside pipe.i will attempt a temporary fix Mon but need a better long term solution.im open to idea please

Hi all lower right pipe missing half an inch of inernal metal where baffle attaches.i had already done a temp fix with washers to fill the hole in but even more went on Sun ride.any ideas of how to keep baffle in place be gratefully accepted .

Well as a further temp fix ive got the biggest washer i can fit in the gap on pipe and with a blob of grease got it to stay in place .ive tightened it as much as i can and now no movement but it wont last but im happy for today!

Hi all .ive made a collar to go around the exhaust inside to try to prevent baffle coming out.the waaher is still holding but needed a better fix.been out with mate on his XS650B today.

Eve all,the 550a is going to need chain and sprockets over winter.please can someone reccomend a decent UK supplier that isnt made of cheese but also not mega silly money ?

M&P put a lot of their stock on ebay. Often post is cheaper than through their website. I bought JT front and rear sprockets in this way.

Thank you Harrymail,looks like Wemoto be easiest for me as fairly local and they seem to have a selection of prices/quality.not urgent yet byt will fit over winter.hoping piggybank will allow for a set of Higgspeeds so i can remove my very decent std pipes for storage in workshop

Yep M & P got all i need for sprockets and chain.had to change all 3 plugs again today .outer 2 broke down.would run at higher revs but not at 30 mph .was popping and spluttering but now all good.

What plugs do you use and how do you run the bike? Up to 6000 rpm B7ES are ok, over 7000 rpm regularly B8ES are a must.
Needless to say, I use B99ES in the Earwig...... :shock: Only kidding, they are B98ES really :roll:
