Gt750A petcock replacement

Post by Johnny »

Hi all, I'm new to this forum stuff so be nice lol. I have a 75 gt750 and I'm wondering if anyone here has purchased the petcock off Amazon and if so is it any good, I've struggled to find a kit, especially here in Australia.

Welcome to the forum.

Don’t know anything about those petcocks. Might be worth a try.

Another option is to do a manual conversion to your Suzuki petcock.
The forum has some info about the conversion. We can provide the links if you are interested.

Link for the conversion I did on an early GT-triple petcock that has 3 outlets.
You should check to make sure the passages are the same on your later petcock.

I used some red plastic model paint to mark the off position.

The passages are different on the later models, from early models. Early style has 4 hole valve, later style has 5 hole valve.
On the later models you plug the center hole in valve, you must also connect the two passages in the valve handle by removing material, making a reverse J.
